This is an original cap badge that dates from the late 1950's when this design of a Lion holding a wheel on a crown came into use but this particular badge was probably worn in the 1960's given the history of railway workers in my family. It is in good to very good condition for its age but please assess that for yourself from the photographs. It comes from a railway family in South Lancashire, North West England.
