Original classic British Railways North Eastern Region poster by E H Spencer produced in 1955 titled “York, the Gateway to History. Size 43 x 28 inches (110 x 71 cms) Framed and in excellent condition, any creases on the poster when I acquired it are almost invisible now that it is framed. This is a rare example of a railway poster advertising York’s fascinating history.
