At Paddington in this era 01, 02 (Excess), 11, 12, 30 were at the Bakerloo Line entrance. Underground Ticketing System (UTS) machines were supplied by Westinghouse Cubic from late 1987. TfL still uses UTS in modified form and hugely reduced quantities, as detailed in Wikipedia.
