Novelty 2022: Variant of RH 1044 in the execution of ÖBB in epoch IV. The resulting impression of an ideal optical effect continues in the bogies of the locomotive. Last but not least, the new 1044 is technically convincing: a five-pole PIKO engine, on whose shaft two finely scared swing masses are sitting, ensures even propulsion.
