These vintage test plates are made of copper and were used in the United States to test railroad rail ties. They were used to test the treatment of railroad ties. Letters according to guys at train museum, were different chemicals used for treatment. They are currently researching. Used in the early 1900;s and are very rare. Price is for pack of four. Shown
