Photograph Notes: View SW of the ex-SR yard from a Down train on the WR main line. Off to the right was the locomotive shed and beyond it until 6/9/65 Reading South station. After 1965 all trains were diverted into the ex-GWR Reading station (Reading General 26/9/49 - 7/5/74).
