Railway uniform buttons - British Railways double arrow design. There are two large silver buttons suitable for an overcoat and then 9 jacket buttons in silver and 9 in gold finish. The gold ones are in better condition so obviously the station managers and their assistants either looked after their uniforms better or never went out in the rain!
