Superb copy of a GWR Director’s diary dated 1892, owned by the company secretary - JD Higgin’s - his Grandson has made an annotation in the diary “mum’s father”. The only other annotation is a date change for a joint railway committee meeting. I am loathe to look at it too closely for fear of damaging it but on quick inspection couldn’t see any other usage. The diary has a leather cover and is in lovely condition, unfortunately the diary has almost completely come away from the cover. It measures 2 1.2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches in height (approx). The page edges are gold - always a sign of quality. Please see the photographs which form an important part of the description. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
