Pair of original embossed metal plates removed from mid‑20th‑century British railway coat hooks. These LONDON SW1 plates were used as location identifiers within railway stations, staff rooms, and depot cloakrooms. They retain their original red and green paint layers, correct casting style, and age‑consistent patina. Both plates show the classic four‑hole mounting pattern, ribbed centre section, and layered paint (green/red) typical of railway fittings that were repainted repeatedly during service.
