My dad retired from Santa Fe/BNSF in 2001. He was always bringing stuff home or getting stuff in the mail. Rob Krebs, the President of Santa Fe at this time brought out the "Q" logo in the late 80s and early 90s. The Q stood for Quality. The logo design on this plate was the first released and later logos had lines through the lower half of the Q. This is photo etched in the glass. The plate is 8" wide on a walnut stand.
