Loco 1036,Taunton Castle, is part of the Great Western Railway's (GWR)Castle Class. This class of steam locomotives, numbered 7000 to 7037, was built between 1946 and 1950. Taunton Castle was built in August 1950 and was withdrawn from service in September 1963.
