This is a steam locomotive whistle valve. It did have a label on it saying southern but I’m not sure, as it’s got no markings. It’s came with a mixed lot of locomotive whistle parts including GWR and southern. Ideal if you just have the top part and want to display. It has been lacquered at some point but some of this is now off. Plenty of marks from use. In good condition with all threads seeming to be fine. Heavy at over 2kg. Approx sizes in photos.
