STEAM TRAINS IRELAND GN CLASS No 49 AT NOBBER 1966. On the line to Kingscourt we see a railtour train hauled by GN Class UG 0-6-0 No 49, captured at Nobber on 14 May 1966. This locomotive was built in 1947 by Beyer, Peacock of Manchester to a GN design of 1937 with slight modifications, having 5ft lin driving wheels and a tractive effort of 21,6001b. J.
