The handwritten notes on the envelope read: “Ravenglass & Eskdale / Windermere II” This appears to be amateur holiday footage including preserved steam trains on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway in Cumbria, plus scenes around Windermere. The film has not been tested or viewed. Includes: • Super 8 film reel • Original Kodak envelope with German customs label Condition: Untested – I don’t have the equipment to check playback. Envelope shows age-related wear as shown. A lovely piece of preserved railway and Lake District social history.
