Interesting diagram of the planned construction of the Severn Tunnel, not if this is taken from a book difficult to date as well. Sizes - Long diagram- 26 1/2 inches x 7 1/2 The Severn Tunnel was built between 1873 and 1886 by the Great Western Railway (GWR). Construction was a challenging feat, involving overcoming flooding from underground springs, with the project taking 13 years and culminating in the tunnel's opening in 1886. Linking South Gloucestershire in the west of England to Monmouthshire in south Wales under the estuary of the River Severn. Has some brown foxing to paper, has the obvious crease folds smaller one has more, brown tape on left side of both. Please see photos. thanks
