Seen here GWR pannier tank locomotive No 3609 waits at the head of a train at Dymock station on the Gloucester to Ledbury branch. Opened in 1885 the twelve-and-a-half-mile-long line closed in 1959. No 3609 was built in 1939 and was withdrawn from service in 1960.
