Unused copy of GWR Great Western Railway Trainman’s Route Card - Print code August 1945 but is dated 1943. Hard to think this was produced during the Second World War. Route Card - Showing sections of line over which holder is qualified to work. A rare survivor in this condition. To last in a hard working environment the card appears to be made from cotton embossed card (you can see the threads of cotton on the cover). It measures 4 1/2 inches wide and 6 3/4 inches in height (approx). Please see the photographs which form an important part of the description.
