*PLEASE NOTE THAT THE BROWN LEATHER STRAPPING AT THE BOTTOM IS CRACKED* This product is a very rare railway foot-operated bellows manufactured by J.G. Franklin & Sons Ltd in 1940 during World War II. The bellows is a piece of hardware railwayana from the pre-nationalisation era, specifically designed for railway use. Its historical significance and unique design make it a valuable collectible for railway enthusiasts and historians interested in the era of British railways. These are as found from an indoor dry environment. I would advise treating the leather before use and oiling the wood to preserve their longevity. They are already 85 years old and will make a fantastic railway museum piece.
