VINTAGE CAST METAL WAGON MAKER'S PLATE. PROCOR WAKEFIELD Circa 1970s I've repainted this back to the red and black I've seen in old photos as these were on hopper type aggregate, coal waggons. This one has had some lettering ground off to the right of Builder which must have been done because the plaque was otherwise outdated? Maybe have been done at the manufacturering stage or a later overhaul of the waggon. Very solid and heavy, don't think it's cast iron, has a bit of a ring to it, think it's cast aluminium or an alloy Size approx 33cm x 18cm x1cm
