Vintage Large Solid Bronze British Rail Carriage Tread Plate c.1950’s I’d imagine plenty of folk have stepped over one these several times in the past whilst boarding a train, this particular one has been well used and has a great aged patina. Made in solid bronze and cast with the words “BUILT BR . WORKSHOPS” and measures 27” long x 2”W curving to each end.
