This is a vintage Santa Fe Railroad silver plate square I.S. Co. butter pat dish. The butter dish measures 2 5/8" x 2 5/8". I purchased it on a buying trip to New Mexico. Just so happens the vintage store where I purchased it, is right next to the Santa Fe Railroad tracks with its original station.
