Original cab glazing has been retained but in order to accommodate the chassis block the bodyside windows are clear acetate glued neatly to the inside of the body. The lower bodysides have had the cutaways backfilled so there is no gap between the inner edge of the body and the chassis (Vitrains used thicker plastic than Lima).
