Found on one plate are the letters : V B D L. A note was found with the set indicated they were from a Vanderbilt Pullman car, but I do not have any proof of that, it is speculation only. Hefty, the set weighs approx 1 lb, 6 oz.
The best fit for this product would be in vintage railroad or model train displays or collections.
