It contains listings of places of interest; information on hotels, restaurants and bars; events occurring during the month; current Broadway shows; and feature stories. The Hotel Knickerbocker was advertising single rooms for $2.50 per night; the rate at the Hotel Roosevelt was $4.50; and, if you wanted to splurge, suites at the Vanderbilt Hotel began at $3.00 per night. The Grand Central Terminal Restaurant & Oyster Bar offered $0.85 lunches and dinners beginning at $1.15; a French dinner at Cafe St. Denis was $1.75; and lunch at the Fish Bowl was $0.65, Current plays on Broadway included "Oklahoma", "Carousel", and "The Glass Menagerie".
