This has never been used, been in storage, in original box. This vintage Meccano Type T15 Safety Transformer, was manufactured in Liverpool, England, circa the 1950s. Usage: Designed specifically to power Hornby Dublo three-rail model railway systems. Specifications: The transformer takes a 220/250 volt input and provides a 15-volt AC output. It features a "completely self-protected" design with a built-in overload protector that trips if the output is shorted. Condition: As a vintage electrical item, it may require rewiring to meet modern safety standards. Untested. Please see my other auctions for more vintage Meccano.
