The mXion DRIVE-XL is a very powerful 8A (10A peak) locomotive decoder with a sensitive control. The DRIVE-XL has 19 function outputs and 3 contact inputs. Below this, 2 contact inputs can be used for shuttle train operation (optionally also via time control). The 3rd Contact input makes it possible to connect an infrared LED in order to receive commands from a transmitter in the track (PZB, infrared train control). The DRIVE-XL can carry out a wide Spektrum of special and imitation simulations on Allen function outputs (e.g. TV, on or off delay, neon, gas lamps, fire, dimming, etc...). Servo functionality is also implemented. In addition, the DRIVE-XL as well as the MD mXion FSD can have light patterns and effects (traffic lights, fair, running lights, etc...) which are freely configurabl.
