Photograph Notes: Like several other preserved railways, the Nene Valley Railway has a loco painted up to represent 'Thomas the Tank Engine' from the children's stories by Rev W Awdry. The NVR's version of Thomas is a Hudswell Clarke industrial 0-6-0T, built in 1947, which was used at the British Sugar Corporation's Peterborough factory during its working life.
