The New York Central Railroad (NYC) was one of the dominant transportation companies in American railroad lore. It served most of the Northeast and large portions of the Mid-west, with tracks also into Canada. For sale is a "Safety Rules" book from the NYC, dated March 16, 1926. It measures 6x4 inches, contains 20 pages, has a hard cardstock cover, and mid-grade content paper. The book details the General Rules applicable to all employee and then discusses rules specific to engine, train and yard employees; station men; shop employees; linemen and signal employees; track, bridge and building employees; and employees in electrified territory.
